29 Ponies will contest the Maureen Mordue Memorial at Maitland Paceway this Saturday night.
Maureen was a tireless worker for the Newcastle Maitland Club over many years and the club recognize her contribution with this event.Maitland Harness Club will also hold an event on the night to celebrate Maureen’s contribution to their club. 3 heats will be held with the first getting underway at 4.45 pm this Saturday. One of the drivers will be Noah Mordue, grandson of Maureen and he is exciting at just the prospect of being able to compete in NANS event. Ponies will be timed in the heats with the fastest going into the final while the remainder of runners will be placed into Consolation events.
