With feature events programmed next week with the running of Peter & Cheryl Lowe Memorial, Anne-Marie Hancock Memorial and Carnival of Cups event a number of members took the opportunity to attend the Maitland Harness Inter City Heats night to round out their ponies preparation.
With extreme heat predicated for the day plans were put in place to hold the events later in the night for ponies and drivers to enjoy cooler conditions. Standout performer on the night was Little Squirt driven by Harrison Wiggins with two win Second win here

The strong Miles team of Tyler (Yogi Bear) and Emily (Roxy Surf Girl) both put in consistent displays and with the run under their belt will prove hard to beat next week.
Team Cassar with foreman Isabella putting the polish on ponies Major Jiba, Harpers Turbonator and Chase em Ace once again proved they will be at their peak next week with Josh, Brodie, Amity and Isabella to share the driving.
Wiggins Racing other two drivers Rowan aboard Your Kiddin Me and Ashton sporting new silks on Smokey Bear both put in strong with Rowan taking out the final event in a close finish
